The name "Begja" means lucky in the Javanese language.
This project involved developing a new brand identity for an Indonesian furniture manufacturing company that had previously operated solely as an exporter for other labels. As the company sought to enter the local retail market with its own brand, the brief was to create a concept that would appeal to a younger demographic, they are offering accessible pricing without compromising on quality.
My proposal positioned the brand around modular teak furniture, designed to adapt to smaller living spaces common among younger urban dwellers. The design direction drew inspiration from Scandinavian interiors, combining minimalist forms with bold and neutral color blocking to create a clean, modern aesthetic. The result is a versatile brand that balances function, form, and a fresh visual identity for the next generation of Indonesian homeowners.
