This series highlights the patterns/shapes that are produced by the shadow/light that is captured in the photos. It is interesting to see how patterns can be made out of the shadow of some small columns or city decoration lights. Also, sometimes light reflection can make some squiggly organic shapes on surfaces.
Seeing shadows in the photos can help me remember the actual object without its presence on the image. It also suggests to what the other senses feel or hear, that the shadow of water ripples in the pool can suggest to me that ripples’ noise and palm leaves' shadows suggest tropical weather temperature. Seeing the length of the shadow makes me think of certain hours during the day. As for lights, it gives nostalgic mood and festivities.
This is an ongoing series.
